The camp is open to all teens with or without previous experience with mindfulness, meditation or camping. This is a special time for all of us - please come and join!

During this camp, we will stay in tents (around 5 teens per tent). The teen girls will get assigned to a tent in Clarity Oak Grove and the teen boys to a tent in the Solidity Campground. There will be monastic and lay staff staying in both campgrounds. Deer Park will provide tents, but we ask everyone to bring their own sleeping bag and sleeping pads.

Together as brothers and sisters in a family we will practice mindfulness of sitting, walking, exercising, hiking, working, resting, playing, singing etc.

With the practice of mindfulness, learning to be alive in the moment, we start connecting with ourselves, our thinking, feelings and our dreams. A new world appears! When we are connected with ourselves, our joy and freedom can grow. In full contact with ourselves we can really connect with others. Our network of friends becomes truly supportive and the brotherhood and sisterhood will be very strong. Practicing together, we will learn and start developing skills of understanding what it is to be a human being, what it is to be a teenager.
