Public Transportation
Light Rail to Escondido: Sprinter (between Oceanside and Escondido) and Coaster (between Oceanside and San Diego). The Sprinter arrives at the Escondido Transit Center, 700 W. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92025, 4.9 miles from Deer Park. It is possible to fly into San Diego Airport, get on the Coaster to Oceanside, and take the Sprinter to Escondido.
Amtrak Train Station: Oceanside Amtrak Station, 235 S. Tremont Ave., Oceanside, CA 92054, 17.39 miles from Deer Park.
Nearest bus station: Escondido Transit Center, 700 W. Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92025, 4.9 miles from Deer Park. Greyhound Bus.
Nearest airport: San Diego Airport (SAN), 36.7 miles from Deer Park. Airport Shuttles - Cost is approximately $45/person.

If you wish to use public transportation, you can take a bus from San Diego Airport or Oceanside Amtrak station to Escondido Transit Center or use the light rail option above. From San Diego Airport, take Airport Shuttle 992 to Downtown San Diego, then take bus 20 to North County Fair and bus 384 to Escondido Transit Center. From Oceanside Amtrak station, take bus 320 to Escondido Transit Center.
