The lodging in Deer Park Monastery is simple with only shared rooms (triple, quadruple and dormitory). In-house toilets and showers are available in Solidity Hamlet. Shared public bathrooms are available in Clarity Hamlet. In the rooms, you are provided with a mattress. All bedrooms are heated in the winter. Men reside in the Solidity Hamlet. Women reside in the Clarity Hamlet. Couples reside in Clarity or Solidity Hamlet, depending on room availability.

The cost for lodging and food is $245 per person per week. If you come for the weekend (2 days), the cost is $70 per person.

The food is vegetarian. Unfortunately, we are limited in our capacity to accommodate people who have special dietary or medical needs. Because of our communal practice, retreatants may not bring pets to our practice center.

Please bring any items that are necessary for your comfort such as towels, bed sheets, personal items, shampoo, hand soap, alarm clock, flashlight umbrella, warm clothing and footwear for rainy, windy and cold weather in winter. Trips into town are not encouraged.
