It’s definitely full right now, BUT we will be adding more spaces in June before the event. So stay tuned. You can try reloading/refreshing the page to see the more up-to-date information.

  1. Dear Brother Joy,
I believe that I was the last registrant for the Day of Mindfulness on June 13, 2022. If that is not the case, please know that I on the basis of what I thought was a successful registration, I booked a flight. I now have a doubt because I haven’t gotten an email in response, as I think was mentioned would happen. Please let me know the status of my registration.
    Thank you,
    W Nick Hill

  2. Dear Brother Joy,
Please don’t trouble yourself anymore with my question. I found the ticket you sent in my junk mailbox. I didn’t understand that I have two and the one I looked at before was empty. I do know the correct date is June 12.
    Thank you for your patience.
    Nick

    • We will add some more spots today or tomorrow. And then the Friday and Saturday preceding the Day of Mindfulness.

  3. Hello, I have registered for this day of mindfulness and need to cancel but I can’t figure out how.
    Thank you

    • Here a short description

Dharma sharing is an opportunity to benefit from each other’s insight and experience in the practice. It is a special time for us to share our experiences, our joys, our difficulties, and our questions relating to the practice of mindfulness. By practicing deep listening while others are speaking, we help create a calm and receptive environment. By learning to speak out about our happiness and our difficulties in the practice, we contribute to the collective insight and understanding of the sangha.

Please base our sharing on our own experience of the practice rather than about abstract ideas or theoretical topics. We may realize that many of us share similar difficulties and aspirations. Sitting, listening, and sharing together, we recognize our true connections to one another.
Please remember that whatever is shared during the Dharma discussion time is confidential. If a friend shares about a difficulty he or she is facing, respect that he or she may or may not wish to talk about this individually outside of the Dharma discussion time.

  4. Hello, I appreciate that the monastery does it’s best to preserve the environment and has car chargers available. Is there a trick to using the electric car charger? I couldn’t get any of the 4 to work last month when I visited. Thanks!

    • Unfortunately, the car chargers are not working right now due to some electrical issues in that area near the parking lot. No track 🙂

  5. Hello,

Will any parts of the DoM be streamed online? I’d love to partake, but unfortunately cannot join in-person at the moment.

    Warmly,
    Aakash

    • Yes, the dharma talk will be streamed. The link is on the homepage. You will want to connect through zoom in order to get the translation.
