Sharing Thầy’s words. When my friend shared them with me earlier today, Thầy’s voice was a great balm. “This body is not me; I am not caught in this body, I am life without boundaries, I have never been born and I have never died. Over there, the wide ocean and the sky with many galaxies all manifests from the basis of consciousness. Since beginningless time I have always been free. Birth and death are only a door through which we go in and out. Birth and death are only a game of hide-and-seek. So smile to me and take my hand and wave good-bye. Tomorrow we shall meet again or even before. We shall always be meeting again at the true source. Always meeting again on the myriad paths of life.” (― Thầy, No Death, No Fear)
So grateful for Thich Nhat Hanh and his teachings of love, peace, mindfulness and compassion. Thank you for inviting us to participate in this ceremony. “I am a continuation, like the rain is a continuation of the cloud”.
Thank yu Thich Nhat Hanh for shining light in moments of darkness…may your transition to the other side be peaceful and filled with loving light. WIth gratitude and love…
A deep bow of gratitude to you all at Deer Park for letting us be with you for the ceremonies during this sad, but special time. Thay’s physical body has departed the earth but his spirit and teachings live on through all of us…and through all the beings that we touch. It’s comforting to be with you all during Thay’s transition. Thay changed my life. I am so grateful for his love, teachings and for all of you. May you be at peace. In deep gratitude,
I walked in the Secret Garden with Thay today, birds were coming to feed from the monkey nuts we spread on the grass, He was everywhere…breathing in we received him accepting, breathing out we smiled trusting..

He taught and inspired me to become right sized and to listen.
