The Day of Mindfulness starts with a walking meditation gathering at 9 AM. As you arrive to our main parking lot, please enjoy your steps up the paved road. Our Day of Mindfulness can begin as we make our first step in Deer Park, allowing our body to relax, bringing our attention to our feet, letting go of anxiety and stress. Our new gathering location will be on your right as you walk up the main road, nestled in under the oaks and pepper trees, close to the campground shower block (see map).
If it is your FIRST TIME to a Day of Mindfulness with us, monastic Dharma Teachers will offer you an introduction to our practice, after the walking meditation, in the same area.
Also, on the first Sunday of the month we offer a Children’s Program for children 6-12 years old. Please preregister for the Children’s Program by clicking here.
