Today is a special day at the monastery as we will be receiving Thay’s ashes from Vietnam. They have been hand carried here by one of our monastic dharma teachers. We move into this ceremony immediately upon his arrival.

The monastery gates will be open from 7:00am – 11:00am. The activities begin at 10:00am at the Moon Over Mountain Peak Meditation Hall in Solidity Hamlet. The events will also be streamed live online.

If you join us in person, please be vaccinated for COVID-19 and bring a mask for wearing indoors.

  1. Please kindly list the names of the name of the key speakers of today’s Thay arrival ceremony.

    Translation was not completed! The last thing the head monk said in Vietnamese “Nam Mo Bon Su Thich Ca Mau Ni Phat” was not translated. A very important last phrase.
