Hello, I am planning to come to California in the beginning of may 2018 and I would like to visit you. Are there possibilities in that periode? Thank you for your answer.

    • Chân Niệm Hỷ says:

Hello Jos. There is a good chance you’ll be able to stay for a week visit during that time period, but the exact dates haven’t been finalized yet. Arrival days are Fridays. You could email our registration office and see what they suggest. office@deerparkmonastery.org

  2. Good morning, I want to know if do you have translator for people who don’t speak English? (Spanish). I want to make the retreat 1 week.

    • Chân Niệm Hỷ says:

We do have Spanish speakers but typically don’t offer full translation services except for larger retreats or when we have a large group speaking one language. We do usually have English/Vietnamese translations.

  4. I would like to bring a group of about 40 seniors (30 women, 10 men) from Norcal for a Mindfulness for retreat, focusing on the 5 Mindfulness Trainings. June 25 – 30, 2018. I am working with Chau Yoder from Walnut Creek, CA, a Dharma Teacher.

  5. Nadine Lefkowitz says:

My husband and I wanted to attend the WakeUp Retreat this month but we are too old. You, or someone from the Monastery, told me that we might be able to come in April for a week and I expressed interest in visiting during a time with Dharma talks occurring. Do you have an update for me with regard to when we might be welcome and when the talks might occur. Also, it is my husband and me and we will be coming from Portland, OR and so would need a cabin. Thank you. – Nadine
