The monks emerged for the first time since the pandemic began to enjoy some lazy days camping in red rock country.

This is fantastic and amazing. You couldn’t help but make an ‘event’ of it being surrounded by such beauty! Thanks for the share. – Nadine
Wonderful shot: Sunset reflecting green tea. Scary shot: Cliff flying LU Brothers.
So happy for you dear Brothers! Beautiful images, Thank you for sharing! I also enjoyed spending 2 weeks in Sedona July 2006 and March 2009. Brings back memories of a sacred landscape with strong energy. Swimming in the river every day to cool off was a highlight. See you for the winter retreat, so looking forward to it . Peace and Love , Chris Sherlock. Heading to Iceland soon to camp and see the recently active volcano lava flow. Thay has taught us well to enjoy our steps on this sacred Earth we all must protect for future generations and for all beings . Eternal gratitude to you for Making Deer Park available for transformational and healing. Smiling and bowing in gratitude to all Plum Village monastics worldwide.
I would very much like to extend an invitation to you to stay at my retreat center in Sedona the next time you are out there. I am currently in the process of doing some remodeling and the location will be available after Thanksgiving some time. I can sleep eight of you. It is my second location and will also be called Satsang House Meditation and Spiritual Center. The center in San Diego is mostly on-site meditation and events whereas the Sedona center will be for retreats. I was so pleasantly surprised to see these pictures in my own back yard in Sedona. Satsang House faces Cathedral Rock and Red Rock State Park.
Please feel free to connect with me so we can perhaps arrange your next stay!
