Register for this Day of Mindfulness
If registration is full, please try again later. There is no waiting list, but spaces become available when there are cancellations. We also provide an online stream of the Guided Meditation, Dharma Talk, and Ceremony.
Need to Cancel?
If you are unable to attend, look in your confirmation email from Eventbrite and click the link: View and manage your order online. Here you can cancel your registration so another person can attend. It will look something like this:

Our hope is to enjoy the Day of Mindfulness together in a way that keeps everyone healthy. For admittance, please be prepared to share your CDC card showing complete COVID-19 vaccination. This is a requirement that applies to every person wishing to attend. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
In addition, we now require that you bring a face mask. Masks are required at all indoor activities, including listening to the Dharma talk, attending the recitation ceremony, and using the public restrooms.
For reasons of safety, the monastery is unable to offer lunch to our day visitors on this day. We kindly ask all day visitors to bring their own vegetarian lunch in compostable packaging.

The in-person Day of Mindfulness starts with a walking meditation gathering at 9 AM. As you arrive to our main parking lot, please enjoy your walk up the paved road. The Day of Mindfulness can begin as we make our first steps into Deer Park, allowing our body to relax, bringing our attention to our feet, letting go of anxiety and stress. Our gathering location will be on your right as you walk up the main road, nestled under the oak and pepper trees, close to the campground shower block.
Schedule
9:00 AM | Walking meditation |
10:15 AM | Dharma talk (Pháp Thoại) with Thay Pháp Dung |
11:30 AM | Ceremony to Recite the Fourteen Mindfulness Trainings |

There is no cost incurred for participation in the day, but dana (donation) is greatly appreciated. There are donation boxes in the meditation and dining halls.
We ask that all guests please wear modest clothing including shirts that cover the shoulders, back, and midsection. We also ask that all guests wear pants or long skirts that cover the knees while standing and while sitting in a meditative posture.
Scheduled Days of Mindfulness occur rain or shine.
