Seasonal retreats at Deer Park Monastery are available during many months of the year. Guests register to practice mindfulness with the community while following the daily schedule of the monastery. Accommodation options include a space in a dorm room or bringing your own tent to camp in our campgrounds. Seasonal retreats are residential retreats; therefore, commuting is not an option. To support stability in our practice, we observe designated arrival and departure days. All seasonal retreats start on Friday afternoon with a check-in time between 2 and 4 PM. Please arrange to arrive during check-in time. One and two week-long retreats end on Friday at 9 AM. Register for the Retreat

  1. Can I register for the weekend for this retreat? Fri – Monday? 2nd July check in – 5th July check out?

  2. If someone could please help me if i can register for July2nd – July 5th that will be very helpful. I am new to this tradition and want to be careful of not doing things not permitted. I did email and call as well and still awaiting a response. Thankyou

    • Dear Amrata, we apologize for the late response. This summer, we are receiving a large number of communications and we are still in the process of responding to everyone. Since the arrival date you mentioned has now passed, we welcome you to register for the seasonal retreat weekend of July 9-11. More summer weekend dates will be available in the future. Seasonal retreat information and registration can be found on our Register for a Retreat webpage.

    • Dear Jen, for the seasonal retreat arrival day of July 9, the monastery is only receiving guests for the weekend. We will be making more dates available for weekly retreat in the near future.
