We have a small group in Alaska interested in the first week of the Rains Retreat in October. Is it possible to come for just the first week and if so, how can we make arrangements. As we are all from Alaska, it will take some time for us to organize. Thank you so much! Smiling!

Hello Deborah. This sounds like a wonderful idea and opportunity. I will share with the Dharma Teachers here and see what may be possible.

  2. I would also love to join the 2021 Rains Retreat in California. I hav practiced at Lower Hamlet in France, New Hamlet and Magnolia Grove since 2014. I hav taken the 14 Mindfullness Trainings!!!

Due to the pandemic, we are only allowing people who are vaccinated for covid-19. If the vaccination extends to children 12 and under, then they will definitely be welcome. As it stands now, that isn’t an option.

Hi Patrick. Thank you for asking the question. At this time, we don’t have the schedule set. But in general, we follow a daily schedule of sitting meditation, working meditation, meals, walking meditation, mentor meeting, and a potential class once or twice a week. Plus dharma talks twice a week. I hope this helps.

So sorry, another question. I’d like to come for about 4 days; is this possible.

I’ve followed the path, or have striven to, for 20 plus years, but not formally. Is this okay. Thanks.

Good day dear friend! I did not see options for shorter stays – it was my understanding that would be posted at sometime. Is it available to register for short stays or is that not yet an option? Thank you 🙏

We are still working on it. There is another large event before the Rains Retreat and once we have those prepped then we’ll work on the shorter stays. Rest assured, they are coming.

Thank you! And thank all of you for your practice and efforts to share with lay folks 🌻🙏☺️💗

Hi Joey. The rates are negotiable if you were excepted for the full 90 days. Once you arrive we can work on what that might look like.
