Day of Mindfulness (Online)
January 3 @ 5:45 am - 12:30 pm PST
The Practice of Not Taking Sides
A sharing on how the practice of not taking sides can bring about connection and harmony to community and family life. We will also hold a Ceremony for the Recitation of the Fourteen Mindfulness Trainings. And all are welcome.
Please join us online through Zoom or YouTube for the following activities. All times are in Pacific Time.
The Dharma Talk will be given in Vietnamese, so if you are an English speaker then you need to use Zoom. Please login a little early to make sure you can select the interpretation channel. And make sure you have the latest version of Zoom.
For the dharma talk, we ask you to join via Zoom so our teacher can see your smiling faces.
As an alternative, you can also join us through audio-only by calling 213-338-8477 and entering meeting ID: 952 2611 7032 and the passcode: 7965539. Other local numbers are available.
Since this is an online event, we want to invite our friends who live in the Midwest, on the East Coast, or even outside of the U.S. to join us. This is one of the wonderful things about an online Day of Mindfulness! Even though you cannot physically be there with us, you are invited to join us for this morning of practice.
Donations to support the Day of Mindfulness and Deer Park Monastery can be made through the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation.
