Monastics and members of our Little Saigon sangha in Orange County, CA recently had the opportunity to visit monuments commemorating the Vietnamese American experience. In particular, exploring the Boat People Memorial, we were reminded of both the trauma and resilience within our community.
Inspired by this visit, we will host a Day of Mindfulness to commemorate Vietnamese refugees. As a Vietnamese American sangha, the Little Saigon sangha holds special reverence for this event, recognizing its significance as we navigate and heal from the generational trauma of war and its aftermath.
We warmly welcome you, especially those who identify as First Generation, Second Generation, or Generation 1.5 immigrants, to join us in Orange County, CA for this special Day of Mindfulness.
Please fill out the following registration form per person attending. Please help us by registering no later than Thursday April 25, 2024.
