Join us for the 2015 US Tour!

This fall, a delegation of 70 to 80 monks and nuns from Thich Nhat Hanh’s worldwide practice centers will tour the United States, leading retreats, public events, and meditations in public spaces.

This is a precious opportunity to support and be in touch with Thich Nhat Hanh by connecting with his timeless teachings and his beloved monastic family.

We encourage you to join us and get involved! Please visit our tour homepage for updates.

Our full national schedule will be announced and events will open for registration on March 1. In the meantime, we invite you to save the following dates for the California area tour:

  • October 10: Public Talk at The Nourse Theatre, San Francisco
  • October 11-16: Special Retreat for Developers and Designers, Burlingame
  • October 24: Public Talk at The Ebell Theatre, Los Angeles
  • October 27-November 1: English Retreat at Deer Park
  • November 4-8: Vietnamese Retreat at Deer Park

Stay tuned!

    • Hello Pat ~ our Day of Mindfulness will likely begin around 9am but we recommend getting here early enough to find a parking spot and enjoy a walk to the meditation hall. Directions to the monastery can be found on their site at There are several hotels down in Escondido near the monastery but we don’t have any specific one to recommend.
