I never been in your monastery…at what time are you open for visitors? It will be a pleasure to visit this beautiful place…when its a good time to visit and at what time?..thank you
Dear Norma. Deer Park is generally open on Sunday and Thursday for days of mindfulness from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Because of the lunar new year, Deer Park’s schedule is a little different; you can click the links above next to each date to learn more about this celebration.
Please see this calendar for the other days you can come visit Deer Park: http://deerparkmonastery.org/events/.
whenever I visit Loc Uyen, I shopped for books, clothes , and other souvenirs. I live far from Loc Uyen and wonder if i can buy gift on line. Thanks.
Dear Lan. Deer Park does not have an online store. You can find many dharma books from Parallax Press: http://www.parallax.org/. Also t-shirts are offered by http://bloominglotusdesigns.org/. For other items, please come visit Deer Park bookshop on a Day of Mindfulness or during a retreat. Please see the calendar here: http://deerparkmonastery.org/events/
