Born in 1993, he received the novice precepts on September 6, 2020, at the age of 27 with the Dharma name Peaceful Source of the Heart and the Dharma title Chân Trời Minh Định. He belongs to the Cây Xô Gai (White Sage) ordination family.

He is the 1151st monastic disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village tradition, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen lineage, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
