Brother Nhất Chúng
A monk in the Plum Village tradition, Brother Nhất Chúng was born in 2002. He is American (of Indian descent), received the novice precepts on October 19, 2025 (at the age of 23) at Deer Park Monastery, with the lineage name Steady Source of Courage and the Dharma name Chân Nhất Chúng.
He belongs to the Juniper Tree monastic family. He is the 134th disciple of the third generation of Plum Village monastics. Brother Nhất Chúng belongs to the 44th generation of the Linji school and the 10th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma line.
