Brother Nhất Lâm

Nhat Lam

A monastic in the Plum Village tradition, originally from the United States. Born in 1987, he received the novice precepts on September 24, 2023, at the age of 36, with the Dharma name Trusting Source of Peace and the Dharma title Chân Nhất Lâm. He belongs to the Cây Toyon (Toyon Tree) ordination family and is the 28th disciple of the third generation of Plum Village monastics.

He is the 44th generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen lineage and the 10th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
