A monastic in the Plum Village tradition, born in 1988. He received the novice precepts on October 6, 2024, at Deer Park Monastery with the Dharma name Deep Awakening of the Source and the Dharma title Chân Nhất Quang. He belongs to the Cây Tử Đinh Hương (Lilac Tree) ordination family and is the 87th disciple of the third generation of Plum Village monastics.

He is the 44th generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen lineage and the 10th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
