Brother Nhất Sơn

Nhat Son

A monastic in the Plum Village tradition, originally from the United States. Born in 1983, he received the novice precepts on September 24, 2023, with the Dharma name Peaceful Transformation of the Source and the Dharma title Chân Nhất Sơn. He belongs to the Cây Toyon (Toyon Tree) ordination family and is the 33rd disciple of the third generation of Plum Village monastics.

He is the 44th generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen lineage and the 10th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
