Sister An Niệm

Sister An Niệm is a nun in the Plum Village tradition. She is Vietnamese, born in 1987, and began her monastic training in 2017 at the age of 30. She received the novice precepts on December 16, 2018, at Thai Plum Village. Her lineage name is Tâm Tường Ân, and her Dharma name is Chân Trăng An Niệm. She belongs to the Cypress Tree monastic family. She received full ordination on February 11, 2023, during the Trừng Quang Great Ordination Ceremony. She is the 1093rd disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village tradition. Sister Trăng An Niệm belongs to the 43rd generation of the Linji school and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma line.
