Sister Học Chiếu
A nun in the Plum Village tradition, born in Vietnam in 1987. She entered monastic training in 2016 at the age of 29 and received the novice precepts on December 15, 2016, at The Garden of Awakening Monastery (Tu viện Vườn Ươm) with the Dharma name Tâm Diệu Hòa and the Dharma title Chân Trăng Học Chiếu (True Learning-Illuminating Moon). She belongs to the Cây Mai Vàng (Golden Apricot Tree) ordination family.
She received full ordination on October 3, 2021, in the Qua Bờ (The Other Shore) Great Ordination Ceremony held at Deer Park Monastery.
She is the 1007th disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
