Sister hung nghiem

A Dharma teacher in the Plum Village tradition, originally from Vietnam, born in 1985, Sister Hung Nghiem entered monastic training in 2005 at the age of 20 and received the novice precepts on March 3, 2007, at Bát Nhã Monastery, with the Dharma name Tâm Huệ and the Dharma title Chân Hưng Nghiêm. She belongs to the Cây Trầm Hương (Agarwood Tree) ordination family.

She received full ordination on January 14, 2010, during the Thủy Tiên (Narcissus) Great Ordination Ceremony.

She is the 426th disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.

Lamp Transmission

Sister Hung Nghiem was transmitted the lamp in 2016 during the Ân Nghĩa (Gratitude) Great Ordination Ceremony, receiving the transmission gatha:

"The Zen forest flourishes, upheld with diligence,
 A pure heart opens the sacred ground.
 Blessings and wisdom grow in harmony,
 A single mark in hand—boundless capacity."
