Sister mai trang

A nun in the Plum Village tradition, of Vietnamese origin and a U.S. citizen, born in 1975. She received the novice precepts on December 14, 2016, at Plum Village France, at the age of 41, with the Dharma name Tâm Trung Nguyện and the Dharma title Chân Trăng Mai Trang (True Moon of Plum Blossom ). She belongs to the Cây Mai Vàng (Golden Apricot Tree) ordination family.

She received full ordination on October 3, 2021, in the Qua Bờ (The Other Shore) Great Ordination Ceremony held at Deer Park Monastery.

She is the 973rd disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
