Sister Thanh Sơn
A nun in the Plum Village tradition, originally from Vietnam, born in 1992, Sister Chân Trăng Thanh Sơn received the novice precepts on July 2, 2014, at the age of 22, with the Dharma name Tâm Diệu Hòa and the Dharma title Chân Trăng Thanh Sơn (True Moon of the Clear Mountain). She belongs to the Cây Trắc Bá (Cypress Tree) ordination family.
She received full ordination on February 22, 2019, in the Bây Giờ Ở Đây (Here and Now) Great Ordination Ceremony at The Nursery Monastery (Tu viện Vườn Ươm).
She is the 860th disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
