Sister Hải Chiếu
A nun in the Plum Village tradition, born in Vietnam in 1995. She entered monastic training in 2016 at the age of 21 and received the novice precepts on December 15, 2016, at The Garden of Awakening Monastery (Tu viện Vườn Ươm) with the Dharma name Tâm Diệu Phúc and the Dharma title Chân Trăng Hải Chiếu (True Ocean-Illuminating Moon). She belongs to the Cây Mai Vàng (Golden Apricot Tree) ordination family.
She received full ordination on October 3, 2021, in the Qua Bờ (The Other Shore) Great Ordination Ceremony held at Deer Park Monastery.
She is the 990th disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
