Sister Trăng Đầu Hạ

Sr Dau Ha

A nun in the Plum Village tradition, of Vietnamese origin and a U.S. citizen, born in 1949, Sr Tr. Dau Ha entered monastic training in 2009 and received the novice precepts on May 27, 2010, at the age of 61, with the Dharma name Tâm Nghiêm Thu and the Dharma title Chân Trăng Đầu Hạ (True Moon of Early Summer). She belongs to the Cây Sen Xanh (Blue Lotus) ordination family.

She is the mother of Sister Bích Nghiêm and Sister Phú Nghiêm.

She is the 687th disciple of Thầy in the Plum Village lineage, the 43rd generation in the Lâm Tế (Linji) Zen tradition, and the 9th generation of the Liễu Quán Dharma branch.
