This four-day retreat August 27- 30 will be held at Birchwood Camp, a beautiful lake-side retreat center surrounded by a birch forest a short drive from Anchorage. The retreat will be led by six Deer Park monastics - Sr. Thần Nghiêm, Sr. Huệ Tri, Sr. Thien Ly, Br. Đạo Sơn, Br. Minh Địa and Br. Minh Định. These monastics will be joined by Alaska-based Dharma Teachers Diane Little Eagle and Joe Spaeder.
Enjoy four days of teachings, mindful breathing, walking in nature, total relaxation, deep listening, and Dharma circle sharing surrounded by the beauty of Alaska.

Retreat Cost includes all meals (vegetarian), lodging & tuition (sliding scale depending on income): Camping $350-500. Shared Cabin w/ bunk beds: $525-650/person.
This retreat marks the 14th annual Alaska Mindfulness Retreat in partnership with Floating Leaf Sangha. This year will be our third retreat held in Chugach, Alaska, just outside Anchorage. For the previous 11 years, the retreat—hosted by Floating Leaf Sangha—took place in their home community of Homer, welcoming a diverse range of Plum Village monastics and lay Dharma teachers. Over the years, this continuity has offered an opportunity to build meaningful connections between monastics, lay Dharma Teachers, and practitioners.
