This event is In-Person and requires advance registration. As these events do fill up, we encourage folks to register as soon as possible once registration opens. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend and there will be a kids program for ages 6-12 offered during part of the programming on Dec 21.
When days of mindfulness are full, please check back on Eventbrite, as more spots will open if & when folks cancel. Please know we do not keep a waiting list.
If you have registered and need to cancel, if you have an Eventbrite account, you can cancel through your account. If you do not have an Eventbrite account, please let us know about your need to cancel by emailing our registration office.
Note for OI members: Members of the Order of Interbeing are welcome to come on any Day of Mindfulness and do not need to register. We invite you to come wearing your brown jacket.

We ask that all guests please observe our dress code. Out of respect for our monastic brothers and sisters, please wear sleeves that cover the shoulders (short sleeves are acceptable), shirts that cover the midriff, and long pants or long skirts that are loose-fitting and cover the knees at all times. Please do not wear shorts, tank tops, nor tight-fitting clothing. We kindly ask friends to dress modestly for the duration of their time with us and to share this information with anyone attending the event with you.
Donations. For participation in the Day of Mindfulness, a donation is greatly appreciated to keep the monastery open and able to receive guests. You will find donation boxes in the meditation and dining halls or you can donate online.
Scheduled events occur rain or shine.
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Gate open to receive registered visitors
9:00 AM – Walking Meditation
(Kids program for ages 6-12 offered during the talk & ceremony)
10:15 AM – Chanting by the Monastics, followed by a Dharma talk
11:30 AM – Recitation Ceremony of the Five Mindfulness Trainings
12:30 PM – Vegetarian Lunch (provided)
2:00 PM – Day of Mindfulness concludes
OPTIONAL 2:00-3:00 PM - Are you a parent of a K-5 child Interested in the TNH School of Interbeing? Join us for a Joyful Parent Circle and Information Session following the Day of Mindfulness. You’re warmly invited to share about your vision of education for your child. We will meet in the Circle Garden at 2PM. If you are interested in joining this session, rsvp here.
