Rooted in the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the spirit of our Deer Park Monastery family, this school represents a long-held dream for our local Plum Village community. For years, we have nurtured this vision through shared practice and dedication, and today we gather to witness it finally come to life. This milestone is a testament to the many hands within our sangha that have worked to manifest this moment, but it also belongs to the wider Escondido community that surrounds and supports us. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have contributed, directly or indirectly, to bringing this space of mindfulness into being.
